I struggled to come up with a title for this blog. The webternet seems to be one massive stream of consciousness and what I thought was unique and original has already been used. Boy is originality tough in such an interconnected world!
Well, instead of thinking too much I've decided to use one of my favorite Tagalog (or now officially known as Filipino) phrases - Alikabok sa ilalim ng dagat (Dust under the sea).
If you search effectively enough, you'll find that this isn't the only blog donning this title. Oh well...all the others seem to originate in the Philippines and are authored by native Filipinos. Not this one!
The idiom has some slightly more complicated meaning than its literal translation but I need to pick the brains of my aunts, uncles and cousins as to its significance to the follies of life.
Anywho, that's enough for now...
